Rising up the success ladder, Dr, Rupa Mehta, B.H.M.S. never shunned the core values and ethics as the essential ingredients of her practice in the past seven years. She found deep resonance with the high ideals that she adopted at the outset of her practice and continued with them because she felt inspiration from the same. She believes that her position as a med practitioner is different from other professions in the world and there needs to be a distinct value component if the success and satisfaction are to be ensured. Upholding the ideals of value and ethics is thus closely linked to her passion for more success and knowledge.

Dr. Mehta seeks satisfaction as the core value of her med practice

Dr. Rupa Mehta believes that profiteering could not be the sole success parameter of any medical practitioner! Therefore, she adopted ‘ethical practice’ and ‘service towards all’ as the core values for her to guide throughout. She believes that unless one finds satisfaction, true success is elusive! Her values of ethics and dedicated service allow her to find the same satisfaction, and this satisfaction leads her to newer heights of learning and success. She attributes her achievements and distinctions as a noted homeopath to her dedication to the service value that she has guarded effectively and vows for the same in future also.

Her thoughts on medical ethics and values

According to Dr. Mehta, the medical practice needs to adopt the highest level of service ethics; but she finds that the same is fast depleting! She deplores how the commercialization of medical profession has occurred in the last few decades and profits have emerged as the sole motive of medical practitioners and pharmacy giants around the world. She believes that unless the doctors understand the true value of their knowledge and potential in consonance with values and med ethics, the success is merely a blur and sort of utopia. Therefore she deviated from profiteering paths and adopted a balanced path that could ensure the knowledge enhancement coupled with satisfaction!

She serves as a consultant homeopath at Sant Nirankari Mission Bhawan at Sector 31, Gurugram free of cost. Every Sunday from 10 am to 12 noon, she offers her services to the needy and poor who cannot afford quality medical services. She also distributes medicines to the people during the free checkups and consultations. This depicts her dedication for service value and the resultant satisfaction that she finds from the same.
